We've built privacy protection into every aspect of our platform, with a special focus on keeping your calendar data secure and private. Your personal information is used only to personalize and improve your training experience.
Information We Collect
To provide personalized fitness scheduling and training recommendations, we collect the following types of information:
Calendar Data
With your explicit permission, we access your calendar information to identify available time slots for workouts and detect scheduling conflicts. We only read time, duration, and availability information. We do not access event descriptions, attendee lists, or private notes.
Fitness Information
We collect information about your workout preferences, fitness goals, exercise history, available equipment, and training schedule preferences to personalize recommendations.
Device and Usage Data
We collect basic technical data such as device type, operating system, and app usage patterns to improve performance and reliability. This data does not include personally identifying content.
How We Use Your Information
Personalized Training: We tailor workout recommendations based on your goals, preferences, and fitness level.
Smart Scheduling: Calendar availability allows Pace to suggest optimal workout times and adapt when conflicts arise.
Social Coordination: If you choose to train with others, we help align schedules while keeping your private calendar details hidden.
Progress Tracking: We analyze training patterns to help you stay consistent and improve over time.
Calendar Data Protection
Your calendar is deeply personal, and we treat it with the highest level of care. We access only the minimum information required for scheduling workouts and never read detailed event content.
Calendar data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption and is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used outside of Pace’s core functionality.
You may revoke calendar access at any time through your account settings. When disconnected, all associated calendar data is immediately deleted from our systems.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
Pace does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
The only exception is when you explicitly choose to share workout plans or progress with friends and family. You remain in full control of what is shared and with whom.
Data Security
We implement robust security practices to protect your data, including AES-256 encryption for stored information and secure transmission protocols.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized team members who require it to operate and improve the platform. Regular security audits are conducted to protect against evolving threats.
Your Rights and Control
Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
Correction: Update or correct information.
Deletion: Delete your account at any time in the app, or send a request to hello@pace.training.
Portability: Export your training and workout history.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Calendar data is deleted immediately upon disconnection. Account data is permanently removed within 30 days of account deletion.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Continued use of Pace indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
